About Me
I qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 and joined a global FMCG company headquartered in Manchester, working my way through various roles in the finance function. My career started as a story of rapid progression, taking on new challenges, winning promotions and rising through the levels of management.
I was married in 2004 and later that year took a relocation deal to move to Ireland. I had a stable and comfortable lifestyle, earning good money and bringing up a young family.
After the relocation, my career progression started to slow. Still, I worked hard, often very long hours, doing my best to impress my employers without receiving any recognition. I was frustrated.
In late 2011, life took several unexpected turns, changing my outlook and helping me realise that you don’t have to sacrifice one part of your life to excel in others. There is a way to find balance, remain fulfilled in your career and have a happy personal and family life.
A few years later, I am now a qualified leadership and business coach, working with ambitious individuals to help them achieve their personal and professional potential.
